Hiring Meeting Rooms

Two meeting rooms are available for hire. Many groups already rent one or other of the two rooms on a regular basis. These groups include other religions, charities, as well as wildlife, historical, self-help, and art and literary cultural groups. For a map and directions to the Meeting House click here

The Meeting Room in the Meeting House

The Meeting Room is a high-ceilinged room with views to the Quaker Peace Garden and is available at £12 per hour. It has space for 65 people seated. Different groups arrange the seating in different ways. There is an adjoining well-appointed kitchen with coffee and tea making facilities. It also contains a dishwasher. Toilets are off the entrance hall. Ramps are available to facilitate wheelchair access to the Meeting House. Please inform the warden in advance, if the ramps are likely to be required. The Meeting Room measures 12m by 9m (very approximately). Click on any of the thumbnails to enlarge.

The Children's Room in the house on Cowl Street

Door Leading To The Children's Room - Click To Enlarge The Children's Room is smaller than the Meeting Room and is available at £7.50 per hour. It has seating for up to 13 people. It is a cosy, informal room. The Children's Room measures 4m (reducing to 3.2m) by 8.5m. The room is reached by taking the second yellow door on the right to enter the building and then walking up the stairs. We regret that there is no wheel chair access to this room. Pictures of the Children's Room can be found here.
